كلمة رئيس تعاونية الأرض الطيبة

في ختام الدورة الإدارية ٢٠٢٢–٢٠٢٦ وقبل انعقاد اجتماع الهيئة العامة القادم

أربع سنوات من العمل والوفاء والمسؤولية

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

أبناء وبنات آل صوالحة العزيزات في مادبا وعمّان والكرك والمهجر، أعضاء الهيئة العامة الكرام، أهلنا وأحبتنا وداعمي مسيرة تعاونية الأرض الطيبة،

يتقدّم رئيس تعاونية الأرض الطيبة، المهندس أكرم إسكندر خليل الصوالحة، باسمه وباسم أعضاء الهيئة الإدارية، بأسمى معاني المحبة والتقدير والاعتزاز إلى أبناء وبنات العائلة الكريمة، وإلى كل من حمل في قلبه خير هذه التعاونية، ووقف معها في لحظات البناء، والتحدي، والقرار، والإنجاز.

ونحن نقترب من اجتماع الهيئة العامة القادم، ومع اقتراب ختام الدورة الإدارية الممتدة من عام ٢٠٢٢ إلى عام ٢٠٢٦، كان لا بد من وقفة وفاء ومسؤولية، نضع فيها بين أيديكم خلاصة مرحلة مهمة في تاريخ تعاونية الأرض الطيبة؛ مرحلة لم تكن سهلة، ولم تكن عابرة، بل كانت مليئة بالتحديات الثقيلة، والملفات المتراكمة، والظروف المالية والإدارية المعقدة، لكنها بفضل الله أولاً، ثم بفضل تعاون أبناء العائلة، وحرص الهيئة الإدارية، ودعم الخيرين، تحولت إلى سنوات عمل وبناء وترتيب وإنجاز.

لقد تسلّمت هذه الهيئة الإدارية مسؤوليتها وهي تدرك أن تعاونية الأرض الطيبة ليست مجرد مبنى، ولا مجرد مؤسسة تعاونية، بل هي بيت جامع، وذاكرة عائلية، ومساحة لقاء، ورمز لانتماء آل صوالحة العزيزات أينما كانوا. ومن هذا الإيمان انطلقت رؤيتنا: أن نحافظ على ما بناه السابقون، وأن نُكمِل ما بدأوه، وأن ننقل التعاونية من مرحلة المشروع والانتظار إلى مرحلة الحياة والتفعيل والخدمة.

مرحلة بدأت بتحديات كبيرة

لقد شهدت السنوات الأولى من هذه الدورة ملفات صعبة، كان من أبرزها معالجة الالتزامات المالية المتراكمة، ومتابعة الديون القديمة، وتسوية بعض القضايا التي بقيت عالقة لسنوات، إضافة إلى ملف مبنى الجمعية القديم وما ارتبط به من التزامات وإجراءات وحقوق.

وقد تعاملت الهيئة الإدارية مع هذه الملفات بحرص ومسؤولية، ووضعت مصلحة التعاونية فوق كل اعتبار، فتمت معالجة عدد من الديون والالتزامات، ومتابعة الحقوق المالية والقانونية للتعاونية عبر الطرق الرسمية والقضائية. وما زالت بعض الدعاوى القضائية قائمة أمام الجهات المختصة لتحصيل حقوق التعاونية والمحافظة على أموالها، وخاصة ما يتعلق بالإيجارات المتأخرة وفواتير الخدمات من كهرباء ومياه وغيرها من الالتزامات التي ترتبت على مراحل سابقة.

ولم تكن هذه الملفات سهلة، فقد احتاجت إلى صبر ومتابعة وقرارات صعبة، لكنها كانت ضرورية حتى تستطيع التعاونية أن تقف على أرض أكثر ثباتاً، وأن تبدأ مرحلة جديدة أكثر وضوحاً واستقراراً. فقد كان الهدف دائماً أن تُدار أموال التعاونية وأصولها بما يليق بثقة الهيئة العامة، وبما يحفظ حقوق الأعضاء، ويصون مستقبل المؤسسة للأجيال القادمة.

الوفاء لمن حملوا المسؤولية خلال الدورة

وخلال هذه الدورة، مرّت الهيئة الإدارية بتغييرات وظروف إنسانية وإدارية مؤثرة، لا بد من ذكرها بكل وفاء واحترام.

فقد كان المرحوم يوسف يعقوب صوالحة، رحمه الله، أميناً للصندوق في بداية دورة عام ٢٠٢٢، وكان من الرجال الذين عرفوا التعاونية وخدموها بإخلاص، وكان لوجوده أثر في مسيرتها. وبعد وفاته، ترك رحيله فراغاً كبيراً على المستوى الإداري والمعنوي، إلا أن المسيرة استمرت بفضل تعاون الجميع.

كما تولى المهندس عمر نايف شكري صوالحة مسؤولية أمانة الصندوق خلال مرحلة لاحقة من الدورة، وساهم في متابعة عدد من الملفات المالية والإدارية في فترة دقيقة من عمل التعاونية، إضافة إلى جهوده في إنشاء وتطوير الموقع الإلكتروني للتعاونية، ودعمه لهذا المشروع الرقمي، ومساهمته المالية التي بلغت أربعة آلاف وخمسمائة دينار أردني، وما قدمه من تسهيلات ودعم في السنة الأولى لهذا العمل.

وكان المرحوم عوني جريس الصوالحة، رحمه الله، نائباً للرئيس خلال مرحلة من هذه الدورة، وكان من الوجوه المحبوبة والمعروفة في العائلة. وبعد وفاته، تولى المهندس نجيب جورج سليم المرار موقع نائب الرئيس، وكان له دور واضح ومشكور في متابعة ملفات مهمة، خاصة ما يتعلق بالمشروع والبنية التحتية والطريق وعدد من الأعمال الميدانية.

كما تولى السيد غالي سامي جريس الصوالحة مسؤولية أمانة الصندوق في المرحلة الحالية، وساهم مع زملائه في متابعة شؤون التعاونية المالية والإدارية.

إن ذكر هذه الأسماء ليس تفصيلاً إدارياً فقط، بل هو وفاء لمسيرة اشترك فيها رجال حملوا المسؤولية في ظروف مختلفة، وكل واحد منهم أدى دوره في مرحلة من مراحل هذه الدورة.

دور لجنة المراقبة وانتقال المسؤولية

ولا بد هنا من توجيه الشكر والتقدير إلى لجنة المراقبة، وفي مقدمتهم السيد جريس شاكر صوالحة وسعادة المهندس مجدي نورس اليعقوب، على دورهما في تسهيل مهمة نقل الإدارة من اللجنة السابقة إلى اللجنة الحالية، وعلى ما قدماه من تعاون ومساندة خلال مرحلة انتقالية كانت تحتاج إلى حكمة، ومسؤولية، وحرص على استمرارية العمل.

لقد كان لوجودهما ومتابعتهما أثر مهم في تسهيل انتقال الملفات، وضمان أن تستمر التعاونية في أداء واجبها دون انقطاع، وهذا موقف نقدّره ونحفظه ضمن ذاكرة هذه الدورة.

دعم اتحاد الجمعيات وتعاونيات مادبا

كما يتقدم رئيس التعاونية والهيئة الإدارية بجزيل الشكر والتقدير إلى اتحاد الجمعيات، وإلى السيد زكريا القيسي وإدارته، على ما قدموه من دعم ومساندة ومشورة للتعاونية، وعلى تعاونهم في تسهيل ما يلزم من إجراءات ومتابعات واستشارات تخدم مسيرة الجمعية وتساعدها على أداء دورها بصورة أفضل.

إن دعم اتحاد الجمعيات، ومساندة السيد زكريا القيسي وإدارته، لم يكن دعماً عابراً، بل كان سنداً مهماً في مرحلة احتاجت فيها التعاونية إلى المشورة والتوجيه والمتابعة. ونحن نثمن هذا الدور، ونأمل أن يستمر هذا التعاون والدعم في المرحلة القادمة، لما فيه مصلحة التعاونية وأعضائها وخدمة المجتمع المحلي.

استكمال المبنى وتحويله إلى بيت حي

وفي جانب المشروع والمبنى الجديد، فقد كانت هذه الدورة الإدارية شاهدة على انتقال حقيقي في حضور تعاونية الأرض الطيبة. فقد استُكملت أعمال مهمة في مبنى التعاونية وقاعاته ومرافقه، وتم العمل على تجهيز القاعات الثلاث، وفرشها، وتحديث الموجودات، وإعادة تنجيد ما يلزم للمناسبات، وتهيئة المكان ليكون صالحاً لاستقبال الأفراح، واللقاءات، والعزاءات، والأنشطة الاجتماعية والعائلية.

كما تم العمل على استكمال البنية التحتية والخدمات الأساسية، من كهرباء، ومرافق، وساحات، وترس خارجي، وأعمال تعبيد وتزفيت، ومتابعة الطريق المؤدي إلى التعاونية، بما يجعل الوصول إلى المبنى أكثر سهولة وكرامة، وبما يعطي الانطباع الذي يليق بمكان يحمل اسم الأرض الطيبة وآل صوالحة العزيزات.

لقد كان الهدف أن لا يبقى المبنى مجرد جدران وقاعات مغلقة، بل أن يتحول إلى بيت نابض بالحياة، يليق بالعائلة، ويخدم أبناءها، ويحتضن مناسباتها، ويحفظ كرامة أفراحها وأحزانها.

ومن هنا، كان لجهود مستشار إدارة القاعة والمطبخ والمطبخ الإنتاجي، السيد حنّا سلمان صوالحة، دور مشكور في دعم تشغيل المرافق وتنظيم الاستفادة منها، بما يخدم التعاونية وأعضاءها وضيوفها.

الأمن والسلامة وحماية مرافق التعاونية

وفي جانب الأمن والسلامة، تتقدم التعاونية بجزيل الشكر والتقدير إلى السيد عمر كمال العباسي، على تبرعه الكريم بتقديم نظام الأمن والحماية ونظام مكافحة الحريق للجمعية تقدمة كاملة منه، في مساهمة مهمة عززت جاهزية المبنى ورفعت مستوى الأمان فيه.

كما تتقدم التعاونية بالشكر والتقدير إلى السيد إبراهيم وليم صوالحة، على جهوده في تقديم وتركيب معدات الكاميرات ونظام المراقبة الأمنية، بما ساهم في حماية مرافق الجمعية وموجوداتها، وتنظيم استخدامها بصورة أكثر أماناً ومسؤولية.

إن هذه المساهمات لا تُقاس فقط بقيمتها المادية، بل بما تمثله من حرص على سلامة المكان، وحماية ممتلكات الجمعية، وتهيئة بيئة آمنة لأبناء العائلة وضيوفهم في المناسبات واللقاءات المختلفة.

شكر للمتعهدين ومن خدموا المشروع

وفي هذا المقام، تتقدم التعاونية بالشكر والتقدير إلى المتعهدين والفنيين وكل من قدم خدمة للمشروع، ولبّى احتياجات التعاونية عند الطلب، وقدم خصماً أو تسهيلاً أو جهداً إضافياً، وساهم في أن تسير الأعمال بصورة أفضل.

ونخص بالشكر السيد فادي برهم، ومتعهدي الكهرباء أبو بيتر وشريكه السيد فريد المنصور، الذي كان قد تم توقيع العقد معه، وكذلك السيد نضال عبدالله الضباعين، على ما قدموه من خدمات وأعمال ومتابعات ساهمت في خدمة مبنى التعاونية ومرافقها.

إن نجاح المشروع لم يكن فقط بقرارات إدارية أو تبرعات عائلية، بل أيضاً بجهود عملية على الأرض، وبأشخاص لبّوا الطلبات، وتحملوا ضغط العمل، وقدموا ما استطاعوا من تعاون وخدمة وخصومات. ولهؤلاء جميعاً منا الشكر والتقدير.

القاعات والمناسبات والحياة الاجتماعية

شهدت التعاونية خلال هذه المرحلة تفعيل قاعاتها ومرافقها للمناسبات الاجتماعية والعائلية، من لقاءات وأمسيات، ومناسبات فرح، ومجالس عزاء، وأنشطة جمعت أبناء العائلة في أجواء من المحبة والانتماء.

فقد تحولت التعاونية شيئاً فشيئاً من مبنى جديد إلى بيت نابض بالحياة، ومن مشروع إنشائي إلى مساحة اجتماعية حقيقية، يلتقي فيها أهل مادبا وعمّان والكرك والمهجر، وتُبنى فيها الذكريات، وتتجدد فيها الصلات.

ومن اللحظات التي عبّرت عن هذه الروح، اللقاءات العائلية التي احتضنتها قاعات التعاونية، ومتابعة بعض المناسبات الرياضية والاجتماعية في أجواء عائلية، ورفع علم الوطن بكل فخر، في مشهد يعكس أن التعاونية ليست فقط مكاناً لأبناء العائلة، بل مساحة تحمل في داخلها حب الأردن، والانتماء لمادبا، والوفاء للجذور.

دعم التعليم والاحتفاء بالخريجين

كما تعتز التعاونية بالدعم الكبير والمستمر من الدكتور شبلي منصور عبد الله الصوالحة، الذي كان لعطائه أثر واضح في مسيرة التعاونية، سواء من خلال دعمه للمنح التعليمية لأبناء الأعضاء، أو من خلال ما قدمه من دعم كريم ارتبط بأرض التعاونية ومستقبلها.

إن منحة الدكتور شبلي التعليمية لم تكن مجرد مساعدة مالية، بل كانت رسالة عميقة بأن العلم هو الطريق الأجمل لخدمة العائلة والمجتمع، وأن الاستثمار في أبنائنا وبناتنا هو أرقى أنواع الاستثمار.

ومن هنا، كان الاهتمام بالطلبة والخريجين جزءاً أساسياً من رسالة التعاونية خلال هذه الدورة. فقد شهدت التعاونية إقامة حفل تخريج ناجح لأبنائنا وبناتنا من خريجي الثانوية العامة والجامعات والدراسات العليا، في مشهد عائلي مميز جمع الفخر بالعلم، والفرح بالإنجاز، والمحبة بين أبناء العائلة.

وقد كان للجنة الاجتماعية دور مشكور في هذا الحفل، حيث قام أعضاؤها بما طُلب منهم من مهام، وأسهموا في إنجاح المناسبة، ولهم من التعاونية كل الشكر والتقدير. كما نشكر عريفة الحفل الإعلامية رهف صوالحة، وكل من ساهم في التنظيم أو الحضور أو الدعم، فقد كان ذلك الحفل دليلاً على أن التعاونية قادرة على أن تكون مساحة فرح واعتزاز للأجيال الجديدة.

تبرعات كريمة ومواقف لا تُنسى

ومن الإنجازات المهمة التي تستحق الوقوف عندها، تأمين مولد كهرباء بقوة ١٦٠ KVA، وهو دعم كبير ومؤثر يعزز قدرة التعاونية على خدمة أعضائها واستمرار نشاطاتها. وبهذه المناسبة، تتقدم التعاونية بخالص الشكر والعرفان إلى السيد حنّا سامي حنّا صوالحة على تبرعه الكريم بهذا المولد، الذي تُقدر قيمته بسبعة عشر ألف دينار أردني.

إن هذا التبرع لم يكن مجرد دعم مادي، بل كان موقفاً عائلياً نبيلاً، ورسالة انتماء صادقة، تؤكد أن الخير في هذه العائلة لا ينقطع، وأن الأيدي الكريمة كانت وما زالت سنداً للتعاونية في مراحلها المختلفة.

كما تتقدم التعاونية بالشكر والتقدير إلى السيد باسل جمال يعقوب صوالحة على دعمه وتبرعاته للجمعية، وما قدمه من مواد ومستلزمات، من صحون وشوك وسكاكين وفوط وغيرها من الأدوات التي تحتاجها القاعات والمناسبات.

وتتقدم التعاونية بالشكر إلى السيد أمين الشخشير على تبرعه بالكراسي، وإلى السيد سهيل حنانيا على تبرعه بالكراسي، وإلى السيدين فراس سمير وحنّا سامي صوالحة على تبرعهما بكراسي وكنب للتعاونية، وإلى السيد إبراهيم مدبك على تبرعه بخزائن المطبخ الخاصة بالكافيتيريا.

كما تتقدم التعاونية بالشكر إلى السيد إسكندر موريس صوالحة والسيدة تينا موريس صوالحة على تكرمهما بتخزين موجودات التعاونية خلال الفترة التي سبقت اكتمال المبنى الجديد، وإلى السيد ليث عيادة صوالحة على إتاحة مستودعه لتخزين موجودات التعاونية. إن هذه المواقف، وإن بدت عملية وبسيطة في ظاهرها، إلا أنها كانت مهمة جداً في حماية موجودات التعاونية والمحافظة عليها إلى حين انتقالها إلى مكانها الجديد.

كما تتقدم التعاونية بخالص الشكر والتقدير إلى السيدة وداد العباسي، على تبرعها الكريم بـ طقمين فاخرين مكونين من طاولتين وكراسي حديقة لصالح التعاونية. إن هذا التبرع الجميل يساهم في تجميل مرافق التعاونية وتهيئة مساحات أكثر راحة وأناقة لأعضاء الجمعية وزوارها وضيوفها، ويعكس روحاً أصيلة من العطاء والانتماء والحرص على أن تبقى تعاونية الأرض الطيبة مكاناً لائقاً بأهلها ومناسباتهم ولقاءاتهم.

وتتوجه التعاونية بالشكر إلى كل من تبرع بقطعة أثاث، أو أداة، أو وقت، أو جهد، أو رأي، لأن العمل الجماعي لا يقوم فقط على التبرعات الكبيرة، بل يقوم أيضاً على التفاصيل الصغيرة التي تجعل البيت جاهزاً ومفتوحاً ولائقاً بأهله.

الموقع الإلكتروني والهوية الجديدة

وفي إطار التطوير والتحديث، أولت الهيئة الإدارية أهمية خاصة للحضور الرقمي للتعاونية، فتم العمل على إنشاء وتحديث الموقع الإلكتروني، ليكون وسيلة للتواصل مع الأعضاء، ونشر الأخبار، وتعزيز المشاركة، وإبراز أنشطة التعاونية وإنجازاتها.

وفي هذا المقام، تتقدم التعاونية بالشكر إلى المهندس عمر نايف صوالحة على جهوده في إنشاء وتطوير الموقع الإلكتروني للتعاونية، وعلى دعمه لهذا المشروع الرقمي، ومساهمته المالية التي بلغت أربعة آلاف وخمسمائة دينار أردني، وما قدمه من تسهيلات ودعم في السنة الأولى لهذا العمل.

إن تحديث الموقع الإلكتروني لم يكن ترفاً، بل كان ضرورة. فالتعاونية التي تريد أن تخدم أبناءها في مادبا وعمّان والكرك والمهجر تحتاج إلى وسيلة تواصل حديثة، تحفظ أخبارها، وتوثق إنجازاتها، وتفتح الباب أمام مشاركة الأعضاء، خاصة الأجيال الجديدة التي أصبحت ترى العالم من خلال المنصات الرقمية.

كما تم الإعلان عن الشعار الجديد للتعاونية، في خطوة تعكس هوية متجددة، تجمع بين الأرض، والانتماء، والعمل التعاوني، والطموح إلى مستقبل أكثر تنظيماً واستدامة. إن الشعار الجديد ليس مجرد صورة، بل هو رسالة بأن تعاونية الأرض الطيبة تدخل مرحلة جديدة من الحضور والوضوح والهوية.

شكر للخبرات المهنية والقانونية والإدارية

كما تتقدم التعاونية بالشكر والتقدير إلى المحاسبة والتدقيق، على ما قدموه من عمل ومساعدة في إتمام المهام بكل تفانٍ ومسؤولية، وعلى الدعم المهني والخصم المالي الذي قدم للتعاونية في المرحلة الأولى، الأمر الذي ساعد الهيئة الإدارية في ترتيب عدد من الملفات المالية والإدارية بصورة أفضل.

وتتقدم التعاونية كذلك بالشكر إلى المحامي والمستشار القانوني عبد الرحمن الأطرش، على متابعته للقضايا التي تم توكيله بها، وعلى جهوده القانونية في الدفاع عن حقوق التعاونية. ونأمل أن تستمر هذه الجهود حتى تحصل التعاونية على حقوقها كاملة من الإيجارات المتأخرة، وتسديد الفواتير والالتزامات المترتبة على خدمات الكهرباء والماء وغيرها مما تركته المرحلة السابقة.

كما تتقدم التعاونية بخالص الشكر والتقدير إلى السيدة روسن أكرم صوالحة / روسن عودة النبر، على دعمها المتواصل للجمعية بخبرتها الطويلة في إدارة الجمعيات وتدقيق الحسابات، وعلى ما قدمته من مشورة ومساندة ساعدت الهيئة الإدارية في فهم عدد من الملفات الإدارية والمالية والتعامل معها بمزيد من الدقة والمسؤولية.

إن الخبرة الصادقة حين تُقدَّم لخدمة العمل العام تصبح دعماً ثميناً لا يقل قيمة عن الدعم المادي، لأنها تساعد المؤسسة على اتخاذ قرارات أفضل، وحماية مسيرتها، وترتيب أعمالها وفق الأصول.

إن العمل المؤسسي لا يكتمل بدون محاسبة دقيقة، ومتابعة قانونية مسؤولة، وحرص على أن تسير الملفات وفق الأصول، وهذا ما حاولت الهيئة الإدارية ترسيخه خلال هذه الدورة.

شكر للجهات الرسمية والداعمين

كما تتقدم التعاونية بالشكر إلى بلدية مادبا، والجهات الرسمية، وكل من ساهم في دعم ملف الطريق والبنية التحتية المحيطة بالمبنى، لأن هذه الأعمال لا تخدم التعاونية وحدها، بل تخدم المنطقة، وتسهل وصول الناس، وتعزز حضور المكان كمركز اجتماعي وتنموي.

ولا بد هنا من شكر كل من تابع وسعى وسأل وراجع وساند حتى أصبح الطريق المؤدي إلى التعاونية أكثر ملاءمة، وحتى بدأت الساحات والمداخل تأخذ الشكل الذي يليق بالمكان وبزائريه.

الوفاء للرعيل الأول

ولا يمكن أن تمر هذه الكلمة دون وقفة وفاء مع رجالات التعاونية الذين سبقوا، وحملوا الراية في مراحلها الأولى. ونخص بالذكر المرحوم الأستاذ وديع متري جريس صوالحة، أول رئيس لتعاونية الأرض الطيبة عام ١٩٧٥، الذي شكل مع الرعيل الأول أساس هذه المسيرة المباركة.

كما نستذكر بكل تقدير زوجته السيدة جميلة الفاخوري، التي وقفت إلى جانب هذه المسيرة وساندتها بطريقتها وحضورها. فالعمل العام لا يقوم فقط على من يظهر في المقدمة، بل يقوم أيضاً على بيوت وأسر وأزواج وزوجات وقفوا خلف الرجال والنساء الذين خدموا التعاونية.

ونستذكر كذلك المرحوم يوسف يعقوب عودة صوالحة، ودور زوجته السيدة منى قاقيش التي ساندته ووقفت إلى جانبه، وكان لذلك أثره غير المباشر في خدمة التعاونية واستمرار عطائها.

إن الوفاء لمن سبقونا ليس مجاملة، بل هو أساس أخلاقي في عملنا؛ فمن لا يذكر البدايات لا يستطيع أن يحمي المستقبل. رحم الله من رحلوا من رجالات التعاونية، وبارك في أعمار من بقي منهم شاهداً على هذه المسيرة.

الهيئة الإدارية والعمل الجماعي

إن ما تحقق خلال هذه الدورة الإدارية لم يكن إنجاز شخص واحد، ولا جهد رئيس وحده، بل ثمرة عمل جماعي شارك فيه أعضاء الهيئة الإدارية، واللجان، والداعمون، والمتبرعون، وأبناء الهيئة العامة، وكل من قدم رأياً، أو وقتاً، أو مالاً، أو موقفاً صادقاً.

ولذلك، فإن الشكر موصول إلى كل من وقف مع التعاونية، وإلى كل من حضر مناسباتها، وإلى كل من دافع عن مصلحتها، وإلى كل من رأى فيها بيتاً لأهله لا مجرد مؤسسة.

نظرتنا إلى المرحلة القادمة

أبناء وبنات آل صوالحة العزيزات الكرام،

إن تعاونية الأرض الطيبة اليوم تقف على عتبة مرحلة جديدة. لقد قطعنا شوطاً مهماً في ترتيب الملفات، واستكمال البنية، وتفعيل القاعات، وإحياء الدور الاجتماعي للتعاونية، لكن الطريق لا ينتهي هنا.

ما زال أمام التعاونية الكثير لتقدمه، وما زال أمام الأجيال القادمة دور كبير في تطويرها، وحمايتها، وتوسيع أثرها. إن المرحلة القادمة تحتاج إلى عقول عملية، وقلوب محبة، وأيدٍ مستعدة للعمل، حتى تصبح التعاونية مركزاً اجتماعياً وثقافياً وخدمياً حقيقياً، لا لأبناء مادبا وحدهم، بل لأبناء آل صوالحة العزيزات في عمّان والكرك والمهجر أيضاً.

إن رؤيتنا لتعاونية الأرض الطيبة هي أن تبقى بيتاً جامعاً لا يفرق، ومؤسسة تخدم لا تتوقف، ومساحة تحفظ الذاكرة وتفتح الباب للمستقبل. نريدها مكاناً يفرح فيه الخريجون، ويجتمع فيه الأهل، وتكرم فيه الكفاءات، وتساند فيه العائلات، وتصان فيه كرامة المناسبات، وتربط فيه الأجيال بجذورها، ليس بالكلام فقط، بل بالفعل والعمل والحضور.

وقبل انعقاد اجتماع الهيئة العامة القادم، يضع رئيس التعاونية والهيئة الإدارية هذه الخلاصة أمامكم بكل شفافية واعتزاز، لا على سبيل المباهاة، بل على سبيل الأمانة. فما تحقق هو ملك للجميع، وما تبقى من عمل هو مسؤولية الجميع.

إن التعاونية لا تكبر برئيسها فقط، ولا بهيئتها الإدارية فقط، بل تكبر بأعضائها، وبحضورهم، وبدعمهم، وبإيمانهم بأن هذه المؤسسة تستحق أن تبقى قوية وفاعلة.

Message from the President of Good Earth Cooperative

At the Conclusion of the 2022–2026 Administrative Term and Ahead of the Upcoming General Assembly Meeting

Four Years of Service, Commitment, and Responsibility

To the sons and daughters of Al-Sawalha Al-Azizat in Madaba, Amman, Karak, and abroad, to the esteemed members of the General Assembly, and to all family members, friends, and supporters of Good Earth Cooperative,

As we approach the upcoming General Assembly meeting, and as the 2022–2026 administrative term nears its conclusion, it is appropriate to pause and reflect on a period that was both demanding and meaningful. These four years were not ordinary years. They carried difficult challenges, long-standing files, financial and administrative pressures, and decisions that required patience, courage, and responsibility. Yet, by the grace of God, and through the dedication of the Administrative Board, the cooperation of the family, and the support of generous people, this period became a stage of progress, organization, service, and achievement.

From the beginning, the Administrative Board understood that Good Earth Cooperative is not simply a building or an institution. It is a family home, a place of memory, a space for gathering, and a symbol of belonging for Al-Sawalha Al-Azizat wherever they may be. This understanding shaped our vision: to protect what previous generations built, to complete what they started, and to move the cooperative from the stage of construction and waiting into a stage of activity, service, and community life.

A Term That Began with Serious Challenges

The early years of this term included several difficult files. Among them were accumulated financial obligations, old debts, unresolved matters from previous years, and the file of the old association building, with all the rights, obligations, and procedures connected to it.

The Administrative Board addressed these matters carefully and responsibly, always placing the interest of the cooperative first. Several debts and obligations were handled, and the cooperative’s financial and legal rights were pursued through official and legal channels. Some legal cases remain ongoing before the competent authorities, especially those related to overdue rent, electricity and water bills, and other obligations inherited from previous stages.

These were not easy matters. They required patience, follow-up, and sometimes difficult decisions. However, they were necessary in order to place the cooperative on firmer ground and prepare it for a more stable and effective future. Our goal throughout this period was to manage the cooperative’s assets and finances in a way that honors the trust of the General Assembly, protects members’ rights, and safeguards the future of the institution for generations to come.

Honoring Those Who Carried Responsibility During the Term

This administrative term also witnessed important human and administrative changes, and it is only right to acknowledge them with loyalty and respect.

The late Youssef Yaqoub Al-Sawalha, may he rest in peace, served as Treasurer at the beginning of the 2022 term. He was deeply familiar with the cooperative and served it with sincerity. His passing left a significant administrative and emotional gap, yet the work continued through the cooperation and commitment of all involved.

Engineer Omar Nayef Al-Sawalha later assumed the responsibility of Treasurer during a sensitive stage in the cooperative’s work. He contributed to the follow-up of financial and administrative matters, and also played an important role in creating and developing the cooperative’s website. He supported this digital project financially with a contribution of 4,500 Jordanian dinars and provided facilities and support during its first year.

The late Awni Jreis Al-Sawalha, may he rest in peace, served as Vice President during part of this term. He was a well-known and respected figure within the family. Following his passing, Engineer Najeeb George Saleem Al-Marar assumed the role of Vice President and played a clear and appreciated role in following up on key files, particularly those related to the project, infrastructure, road access, and field work.

Mr. Ghali Sami Jreis Al-Sawalha later assumed the role of Treasurer in the current stage and contributed, together with his colleagues, to the financial and administrative follow-up of the cooperative.

These names are not mentioned as formal titles only. They represent a shared journey of responsibility, with each person serving the cooperative during a different stage and under different circumstances.

The Supervisory Committee and the Transfer of Responsibility

The cooperative extends its appreciation to the Supervisory Committee, especially Mr. Jreis Shaker Al-Sawalha and His Excellency Engineer Majdi Nours Al-Yaqoub, for their role in facilitating the transfer of administration from the previous committee to the current one.

Their cooperation and support during this transitional stage helped ensure continuity, order, and responsible handover of files. Their role is valued and will remain part of the record of this administrative term.

Support from the Union of Associations and Madaba Cooperatives

The President and Administrative Board also extend sincere appreciation to the Union of Associations, and to Mr. Zakaria Al-Qaisi and his administration, for their support, advice, and cooperation with Good Earth Cooperative.

Their guidance and assistance were especially valuable during a period when the cooperative needed consultation, follow-up, and institutional support. We deeply appreciate this role and hope that this cooperation will continue in the next stage for the benefit of the cooperative, its members, and the wider local community.

Completing the Building and Turning It into an Active Community Home

One of the most visible achievements of this term was the transformation of the new cooperative building from a construction project into an active and welcoming family and community space.

Important work was completed in the building, its halls, and its facilities. The three halls were prepared and furnished. Existing furniture and assets were updated, reupholstered, and made suitable for family occasions, celebrations, condolence gatherings, meetings, and social activities.

Work also continued on the basic infrastructure and services, including electricity, facilities, yards, the outdoor terrace, paving and asphalt works, and follow-up on the road leading to the cooperative. These improvements made access easier, improved the appearance of the site, and helped create a setting worthy of the name Good Earth and of Al-Sawalha Al-Azizat.

The goal was never for the building to remain only walls and closed halls. The goal was to make it a dignified, active, and welcoming home for the family — a place that serves its people, hosts their occasions, and preserves the dignity of both their joyful and sorrowful moments.

In this context, the cooperative extends its appreciation to Mr. Hanna Salman Al-Sawalha, Consultant for the Hall, Kitchen, and Productive Kitchen Management, for his support in operating the facilities and organizing their use in a way that serves members, guests, and events.

Security, Safety, and Protection of the Facilities

In the area of security and safety, the cooperative extends sincere thanks to Mr. Omar Kamal Al-Abbasi for generously providing the full security system and fire protection system for the association. This important contribution strengthened the readiness of the building and improved its safety standards.

The cooperative also thanks Mr. Ibrahim William Al-Sawalha for providing and installing the camera equipment and security monitoring system, helping protect the association’s facilities and assets and supporting safer, more responsible use of the building.

These contributions are not measured only by their financial value. They reflect genuine concern for the safety of the place, the protection of the cooperative’s property, and the comfort of the family members and guests who use the facilities.

Appreciation to Contractors and Service Providers

The cooperative also extends its appreciation to the contractors, technicians, and service providers who contributed to the project, responded to requests, offered discounts or facilitation, and helped the work move forward.

Special thanks go to Mr. Fadi Barham, to the electrical contractors Abu Peter and his partner Mr. Farid Al-Mansour, with whom the contract was signed, and to Mr. Nidal Abdullah Al-Daba’een, for the services, work, and follow-up they provided in support of the cooperative’s building and facilities.

The success of the project was not achieved through administrative decisions and family donations alone. It also depended on practical work on the ground, and on people who responded when needed, handled pressure, and offered cooperation, service, and support.

Halls, Occasions, and Social Life

During this term, the cooperative’s halls and facilities began to play a real role in the family’s social life. They were used for gatherings, evenings, celebrations, condolence gatherings, and activities that brought family members together in an atmosphere of warmth, belonging, and respect.

Gradually, the cooperative became more than a new building. It became a living social space where people from Madaba, Amman, Karak, and abroad could meet, reconnect, and create shared memories.

Among the moments that reflected this spirit were family gatherings hosted in the cooperative’s halls, including watching sports and social events together, and proudly raising the Jordanian flag. These moments show that the cooperative is not only a family space, but also a place that carries love for Jordan, belonging to Madaba, and loyalty to our roots.

Supporting Education and Celebrating Graduates

The cooperative is proud of the generous and continued support of Dr. Shibli Mansour Abdullah Al-Sawalha, whose contributions have had a meaningful impact on the cooperative’s journey. His support included educational scholarships for the children of members, as well as generous contributions connected to the cooperative’s land and future.

Dr. Shibli’s educational scholarship is more than financial assistance. It is a message that education is one of the most meaningful ways to serve the family and society, and that investing in our sons and daughters is one of the noblest forms of service.

For this reason, supporting students and celebrating graduates became an important part of the cooperative’s message during this term. The cooperative hosted a successful graduation ceremony for sons and daughters graduating from high school, university, and postgraduate programs. It was a proud family occasion that brought together achievement, education, joy, and love.

The Social Committee played an appreciated role in the ceremony and completed the tasks entrusted to it. The cooperative also thanks media presenter Rahaf Al-Sawalha, who hosted the event, and everyone who contributed through organization, attendance, or support. The ceremony demonstrated that the cooperative can be a place of pride and encouragement for younger generations.

Generous Donations and Meaningful Contributions

One of the important contributions during this term was securing a 160 KVA electric generator, which strengthens the cooperative’s ability to serve its members and continue its activities. The cooperative extends sincere thanks to Mr. Hanna Sami Hanna Al-Sawalha for his generous donation of this generator, valued at 17,000 Jordanian dinars.

This contribution was not simply a material donation. It was a generous family gesture and a sincere expression of belonging, confirming that the spirit of giving remains alive within the family.

The cooperative also thanks Mr. Basel Jamal Yaqoub Al-Sawalha for his support and donations, including plates, forks, knives, towels, and other supplies needed for the halls and events.

Thanks are also extended to Mr. Ameen Al-Shakhsheer for donating chairs, to Mr. Suhail Hanania for donating chairs, to Mr. Firas Sameer Al-Sawalha and Mr. Hanna Sami Al-Sawalha for donating chairs and sofas, and to Mr. Ibrahim Madbak for donating kitchen cabinets for the cafeteria.

The cooperative also thanks Mr. Iskander Morris Al-Sawalha and Mrs. Tina Morris Al-Sawalha for storing the cooperative’s assets before the new building was completed, and Mr. Laith Ayada Al-Sawalha for making his warehouse available for the same purpose. These practical contributions were important in protecting the cooperative’s belongings until they could be moved to their new home.

The cooperative also extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Wedad Al-Abbasi for her generous donation of two elegant garden sets, consisting of two tables and garden chairs, for the benefit of the cooperative. This thoughtful contribution will help enhance the cooperative’s facilities and create more comfortable and elegant outdoor spaces for members, visitors, and guests. It also reflects a genuine spirit of generosity, belonging, and care for ensuring that Good Earth Cooperative remains a welcoming and dignified place for its people, their gatherings, and their occasions.

The cooperative also thanks everyone who donated furniture, equipment, time, effort, advice, or any form of support. Institutions are not built only by large donations, but also by the many smaller contributions that make a place ready, welcoming, and worthy of its people.

The Website and the New Identity

As part of development and modernization, the Administrative Board gave special attention to the cooperative’s digital presence. The website was created and updated to serve as a channel for communication with members, publication of news, documentation of achievements, and encouragement of participation.

In this regard, the cooperative thanks Engineer Omar Nayef Al-Sawalha for his work in creating and developing the website, for supporting the digital project, for his financial contribution of 4,500 Jordanian dinars, and for the facilities and support he provided during the first year.

Creating and updating the website was not a luxury. It was a necessity. A cooperative that serves people in Madaba, Amman, Karak, and abroad needs a modern communication platform that preserves its news, documents its work, and keeps younger generations connected.

The cooperative also announced its new logo, marking a renewed identity rooted in land, belonging, cooperation, and the ambition for a more organized and sustainable future. The logo is not just a design. It is a statement that Good Earth Cooperative is entering a new stage of clarity, presence, and identity.

Professional, Legal, and Administrative Support

The cooperative extends its thanks to the accounting and auditing team for their dedication, professional support, and assistance in completing required tasks. Their professional contribution, including the financial discount offered during the early stage, helped the Administrative Board organize several financial and administrative matters more effectively.

The cooperative also thanks lawyer and legal consultant Abdul Rahman Al-Atrash for his follow-up on the legal cases assigned to him and for his efforts in defending the cooperative’s rights. We hope these efforts will continue until the cooperative secures its full rights regarding overdue rent, utility bills, and other obligations carried over from previous stages.

The cooperative also extends sincere appreciation to Mrs. Rawsan Akram Al-Sawalha / Rawsan Odeh Al-Naber for her continued support, based on her long experience in association management and account auditing. Her advice and guidance helped the Administrative Board understand and manage several administrative and financial matters with greater accuracy and responsibility.

Professional experience, when offered in the service of public work, is a valuable form of support. It helps institutions make better decisions, protect their progress, and organize their work properly.

Sound institutional work requires accurate accounting, responsible legal follow-up, and proper handling of files. This was one of the principles the Administrative Board worked to strengthen during this term.

Appreciation to Official Bodies and Supporters

The cooperative extends its thanks to Madaba Municipality, official bodies, and everyone who supported the road and infrastructure work surrounding the building. These improvements do not serve the cooperative alone. They also serve the surrounding area, make access easier, and strengthen the cooperative’s role as a social and community center.

We also thank everyone who followed up, made inquiries, reviewed matters, and supported these efforts until the road, yards, and entrances began to reflect the image that the place and its visitors deserve.

Loyalty to the Founding Generation

No message about this term would be complete without honoring those who came before us and carried the cooperative in its earliest years.

We especially remember the late Mr. Wadee Mitri Jreis Al-Sawalha, the first President of Good Earth Cooperative in 1975, who, together with the founding generation, helped establish this blessed journey.

We also remember with appreciation his wife, Mrs. Jameeleh Fakhouri, who supported that journey in her own way and through her presence. Public service is not carried only by those who stand at the front. It is also supported by families, spouses, and homes that stand behind those who serve.

We also remember the late Youssef Yaqoub Awdeh Al-Sawalha and the support of his wife, Mrs. Mona Qaqish, who stood by him and supported him, contributing indirectly to the cooperative’s service and continuity.

Remembering those who came before us is not a formality. It is a moral duty. A community that does not remember its beginnings cannot protect its future. May God have mercy on those who have passed, and may those who remain continue to witness and support this journey.

The Administrative Board and Collective Work

What was achieved during this term was not the work of one person alone, nor the achievement of the President alone. It was the result of collective effort by the Administrative Board, committees, supporters, donors, members of the General Assembly, and everyone who contributed advice, time, money, or sincere support.

For this reason, appreciation is extended to everyone who stood with the cooperative, attended its events, defended its interests, or saw it not merely as an institution, but as a home for the family.

Looking Ahead

Dear sons and daughters of Al-Sawalha Al-Azizat,

Good Earth Cooperative now stands at the beginning of a new stage. Important progress has been made in organizing files, completing infrastructure, activating the halls, and restoring the cooperative’s social role. But our work does not end here.

The cooperative still has much to offer. Future generations have an important role to play in developing it, protecting it, and expanding its impact. The coming stage needs practical minds, sincere hearts, and hands ready to work, so that the cooperative becomes a true social, cultural, and service center — not only for the people of Madaba, but also for Al-Sawalha Al-Azizat in Amman, Karak, and abroad.

Our vision is for Good Earth Cooperative to remain a home that brings people together, an institution that continues to serve, and a place that preserves memory while opening the door to the future. We want it to be a place where graduates are celebrated, families gather, talents are honored, people are supported, occasions are held with dignity, and younger generations remain connected to their roots — not only through words, but through action, service, and presence.

Ahead of the upcoming General Assembly meeting, the President and Administrative Board place this summary before you with transparency and appreciation. This is not to claim credit, but to honor the trust placed in us. What has been achieved belongs to everyone, and what remains to be done is a shared responsibility.

The cooperative does not grow through leadership alone. It grows through its members, their presence, their support, and their belief that this institution deserves to remain strong, active, and united.

In closing, Engineer Akram Iskander Khalil Al-Sawalha, President of Good Earth Cooperative, extends his sincere appreciation to the members of the General Assembly, to the sons and daughters of Al-Sawalha Al-Azizat in Madaba, Amman, Karak, and abroad, and to everyone who supported, advised, contributed to, and believed in the mission of this cooperative.

He also extends his gratitude to everyone who shared the responsibility and concern for this institution, everyone who showed patience and understanding, and everyone who offered constructive criticism or sincere advice.
